Overview of the Microsoft BI world.
Working with Power BI Desktop:
- Connecting and transforming data with insight into the language Power Query M.
- Creating a data model, understanding hierarchies and relationships.
- Creation of reports, bookmarks and tooltips. Tips and tricks in visualization.
- Introduction to the query language DAX (Calculated Columns and Simple Calculated Measures).
- Deepening in DAX (CALCULATE(), filter context, Time Intelligence Functions and new DAX formulas)
- Latest Power BI features (We always work with the latest Power BI release)
- Review of the Excel features (Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View)
Understanding Power BI Services:
- Data Gateway, Schedule & Refresh
- Use of Dashboards, Q&A, Comments
- Distribution of reports via app
- Interaction with Flow and Power Apps
Possibilities to distribute reports with Power BI Report Server OnPrem.
Quick insight into Analysis Services Tabular (SSAS and Azure Analysis Services)
