Exadata or Database Machine is the database appliance that belongs to Oracle’s Engineered System family. After attending this course, you will understand the architecture, concepts, and features of Oracle Exadata. You will be able to optimally and efficiently configure and administer the Exadata database servers, storage servers, InfiniBand and Ethernet switches, and PDU, and you can install patches. Different possibilities will be demonstrated for using the resources in Exadata to avoid bottlenecks in consolidated environments. Numerous demos, handouts, and tips from our consulting experience supplement the theoretical part of the course.
