This course will introduce you to many of Enterprise Managers features, including how to install, upgrade and patch Enterprise Manager, the various agent installation methods, as well as adding targets. In addition to Database Administration & Database Performance Analysis topics such as User/security concepts are explained, and the possibilities for monitoring and alerting are outlined. The automation of repetitive tasks using the built-in Job Scheduler or emcli (the Enterprise Manager Command Line Interface), as well as licensing, are also addressed.
This course uses Demos and Student-excercises to strengthen acquired skills.
