TypeScript is typically used when developing an Angular app. TypeScript is a language developed by Microsoft, which is a superset of JavaScript and offers a static typing as known from languages such as Java or C#. This static typing provides compile time errors and better tool support.
Following an introduction to object-oriented programming with TypeScript you will learn the details of Angular in this course: Templates, data binding, components, directives, services and more. In practical examples, you implement the conveyed content and build a complete, component-based Angular application that exchanges data with a REST-based service interface. The application is based on the Angular CLI. The Angular CLI command line interface is a tool for creating new projects, adding files and performing a variety of development tasks such as testing, bundling and deployment.
